Citizens Advice Guildford and Ash is pleased to offer a specialist advice service for clients who are in secondary mental health care (or who have been discharged within the last six months) and are connected to Guildford or Waverley CMHRS. Most of our clients access the project through a referral by an appropriate agency.
We will try our best to contact you within five working days of your referral to book an initial appointment, which will usually be by phone but can be face-to-face in our Guildford office, subject to availability. Once referred, we’re able to provide a responsive service in terms of the frequency and length of appointment. Appointments are with a specialist adviser and cover benefits, debt and housing advice areas.
We also offer Outreach Appointments at Berkeley House in Godalming and at Farnham Road Hospital in Guildford. These appointments are by referral only through the reception teams at each location.
The Mental Health Project is funded by Surrey Heartlands Clinical Commissioning Group and Guildford & Waverley Integrated Care Partnership.
Depending on the nature of your issue, other services may be available for clients who have a mental health condition and need advice, but don’t meet our project’s criteria. Please contact us for help.
